WHO ARE WE?

Anne and Peter Christ are the principle owners and operators of Bridge Creek. They enjoy sharing their love of food and wine (and beer) with guests and staff alike. For a full bio click here.

Judd Lohof, Executive Chef, relocated back to Red Lodge in the spring of 2013 with his wife Erin. Judd worked in the kitchen at Bridge Creek in 2000 and we're thrilled to have him back from North Carolina where Judd & Erin owned and operated their own restaurant for the last seven years. His experiences have helped to shape a well-rounded culinary style and his enthusiasm for quality local food is infectious.

WHAT ARE SOME IMPORTANT ISSUES I SHOULD KNOW BEFORE APPLYING TO WORK AT BRIDGE CREEK?

Bridge Creek serves lunch and dinner. As such, our staff must be available to work a combination of lunch and dinner shifts. There are no AM or PM staffs. There is only Team Bridge Creek. Your schedule will be designed to suit both your needs and ours, but please remember that flexibility is crucial to the success of this operation.

Bridge Creek serves food and beverages. As such, our staff must be highly knowledgeable about these products and will be expected to taste everything that we serve. Alcohol consumption, however, is restricted by state law to persons at least 21 years of age. Staff members that are under 21 and those who have chosen not to drink alcohol will have to work very hard to understand the qualities of the beverages that we offer and how they relate to our menu. (Note: To serve alcohol, you must be at least 18 years of age, another state law.)

Working in this challenging restaurant environment demands the full attention of our staff. As such, staff members will be expected to refrain from alcohol and drug use prior to and during the times they are on duty at Bridge Creek. The obvious exception to this will be during training/tasting sessions where "spitting it out" is acceptable and encouraged.

Cigarette smoking can affect ones ability to properly experience the finer points of food and beverages. As such, cigarette breaks are not provided for any staff member. If you are a smoker who cannot go for long periods of time with out a smoke, please consider not applying.

Prior to beginning your employment, you must be prepared to present documents required by the INS

We will insure that working at Bridge Creek is fun. While all of us will be working very hard to create an extraordinary experience for our guests, we will create the same for ourselves. We will laugh regularly and if we're not laughing enough, we will figure out how to laugh more.

We will have busy seasons (summer and ski season) and slower seasons.

We will compensate you for your efforts in traditional ways and some not so traditional ways. You'll just have to wait to find out what these ways are.
